Utilizing Bundles on Project Boards:

Bundles are a reusable “package” of sections, custom fields, and rules that can be applied to multiple Project Boards to help standardize workflows across multiple Project Boards

  • Overview
    • Utilizing a bundle on your Project Boards allows you to update the sections, custom fields, or rules across all the Project Boards it is applied to at once 
    • When to use a Bundle:
      • If the same type of project is repeated often 
      • To create consistency across your projects 
      • If you want your team to utilize the same fields (i.e., priority levels, statuses, etc)
  • Create a Bundle from an Existing Project Board's Structure:
    1. Create one well-organized Project that meets your project standards.
      • This should include any fields, sections, or rules for your Project Board. 
    2. Test that every element you have created on the Project Board works properly.
    3. Save the Project’s structure as a Bundle.
      1. Click the Customize button in the upper right-hand corner.
      2. Click the Add button and then click Bundle this Project.
        • This will add everything you have added to your Project Board to your Bundle.
      3. Name your Bundle and add any additional customizations, then click continue.
    4. You can then add your new Bundle to any existing projects.
  • Create a Brand New Bundle:
    • Click the Customize button in the upper right-hand corner.
    • Click the Add button and then click Bundle.
      • Here you will see your Bundles Gallery. This includes any bundle you have created.
    • Click Create Bundle.
    • On the Edit Bundle page:
      • Name your Bundle.
      • Add any needed sections, fields, and rules.
      • Click continue.
    • You can then add your new Bundle to any existing projects.
  • Add an Existing Bundle to a New Project:
    • Click the Customize button in the upper-right corner.
    • Click the Add button and then click Bundle.
      • Here you will see your Bundles Gallery. This includes any bundle you have created.
    • Click the Bundle you would like to add.
      • You will be shown a preview of the Bundle.
    • Click Add to Project when you are ready.
