My Tasks Board:

Every user has their own My Tasks Board in Asana. This board cannot be deleted or renamed

  • Overview
    • This is your personal “project board” that you can add tasks you need to complete to.
    • If someone assigns you a task, that task will appear on your My Tasks Board.
    • Just like a regular Project Board, you can customize your My Tasks Board by:
      • Editing section names
      • Adding rules
      • Adding fields/custom fields
  • Best Practices for Your My Tasks Board:
    • Treat it like your daily to-do list.
      • Manage your tasks in your My Tasks Board rather than in each project.
    • Prioritize your tasks by creating new sections and rules to arrange tasks from most important to least urgent.
    • Keep the list up to date.
  • Other Information:
    • When you mark a task “Complete” on your My Task Board, Asana will also mark it complete on the Project Board.
