Student Academics: Register from Academic Plan


Register For Courses From Your Academic Plan:

Note: Most students will need to register from their Academic Plan three separate times: once for the Main ter, and then for each of the two bi-terms.


After Logging in to myUC, please follow these directions:

  1. Click on View All Apps at the bottom of the section called Quick Tasks.
  2. Click on the Academics app.
  3. Locate the Academic Advising & Planning section, then click on View My Academic Plan.
  4. Please Note: If you have Requirements litsed in any pf the items on your Academic Plan that do not have a course listed beside the requirement, this measn that you will need to update your Academic Plan to choose a course for that requirement before you will be able to register. Please refer to the "Update Academic Plan" and "Find Course Sections" guides for more information about those processes. 
  5. If you did not need to Update you Academic Plan, of after your Student Success Coordinator has approved any changes you made, click the Register from Plan button.
  6. Select the appropriate Academic Period from the dropdown menu, then click OK at the bottom of the page. (Select one of the three academic periods (For example, you may see 2022 Fall First Bi-term, 2022 Fall Second Bi-term, and 2022 Fall Term as options), but make sure to return to this step when you finish with the first Academic Period you select to repeat this process for the other two academic periods to be completely registered for you courses.)
  7. Click to choose the appropriate eligible courses from your plan on the left side of the page. This will display the available course sections, meeting patterns and more information to help you decide which section to select.
  8. Click the checkbox in the Select row next to your desired course
  9. Repeat for additional courses, if applicable.
  10. Click Register.
  11. Click the View Registered Courses button.


**Note** To register for the other two terms that you need to select after the first time through this process, you will need to click on My Academic Plan in the menu on the left side of your screen and start over again at Step 4 on tis sheet.
