Create a Supplier Request:

You can create requests for suppliers that are not set up in Workday. After entering the required information, the request will route to the supplier administrator for approval and completion.



From your Home page:

  1. Navigate to the Create Supplier Request task shortcut. Or search Create Supplier Request in the search bar. This will pull up the task - click the task.
  2. Include supplier information, if available:
    1. Supplier Name (required)
    2. DUNS Number
    3. Restricted to Companies
    4. Supplier Category
    5. Parent
    6. Tax Authority Form Type
    7. TIN Type
    8. Tax ID
    9. Justification
  3. Enter at least one piece of contact information. If you enter a phone number, you will need to identify it as Primary.
  4. Click OK, and then Done. Once submitted, the request goes to Accounts Payable for review before it can be added.
