Viewing Your Gradebooks
You can view your grades by opening the Grades page from the base navigation or by opening Grades from within a course. You also can view grades for individual items when you view the item in the course. You can't see the grade for an item until your instructor posts it.
Global Grades
Select Grades in the base navigation to view your grades for all courses at once.
My Grades
You can check your grades in the base navigation or from within a specific course. Your view of grades is called My Grades. From this page you can filter activities, view item descriptions or comments, and view submissions along with instructor feedback.
- View All items, Graded Items, Upcoming Items (not submitted), and Submitted (need grading)
- Filter by Course Order (same order as instructor Grade Center), Last Activity, Due Date (Latest First), or Due Date (Oldest First)
- Click on an item link to view the submission. For example, click on an assignment to see annotated comments from your instructor. Click on a test to view which questions you answered correctly or incorrectly.
My Grades
On the My Grades page, you can view all the coursework and grades for the course you're in. If your work hasn't been graded, grade status icons appear.
You can filter and order your view.
Select an item's title to review your submission. For example, your instructor can type comments and highlight text in your document. Select an assignment's title to access the assignment's Review Submission History page and review the grade, annotations, and feedback in context. The Review Submission History page is also where you will find your SafeAssign Originality Report.
Reminder: For tests, after you select the title, the View Attempts page opens. Select the grade to review your submission.
If your instructor used a rubric to grade your work, select the View Rubric link to view details.
Select the View Feedback icon to view instructor feedback in a pop-up box.
Note: During the semester, the grade that you see as your final grade may not always be accurate if you have not submitted all assignments. If you are uncertain about your grade at any point during the course, contact your instructor for assistance.
Check Assignment Grades
There are two places where you can check an assignment grade. The first is in My Grades. The second is by clicking on the same link used to submit the assignment. Note that your instructor may have that link turned off after all assignments are submitted. Either method will take you to the submitted assignment where you can view instructor notes annotated on your submitted file along with the grade and additional comments.
View Test Grades
As with assignments, you can view test grades by going to My Grades or clicking on the original link to take the test. Again, note that the latter may not work if your instructor has turned off visibility to the link.
If viewing from My Grades:
- Click on the quiz name
- Then click on the score.
If there were multiple attempts, you will see a score for each attempt.
Your instructor controls the amount of feedback--for example, correct and incorrect answer choices--that you will see when you review your test results.
